Aged care services
Care that respects a life well lived.
Banksia Care delivers aged care services to older Australians across Gregory Hills, Camden, Campbelltown and surrounding areas. Our services are delivered under the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Support at Home program, with a focus on dignity, consistency and genuine respect for the person.
Support at Home program
How aged care funding works.
From 1 July 2025, the Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages program and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). Support at Home is the Australian Government's funded in-home aged care program for eligible older Australians.
Access to Support at Home begins through My Aged Care, the government's entry point for aged care assessment and services. An Aged Care Assessment (previously ACAT) determines eligibility and the level of support funding available.
Banksia Care is an approved aged care provider delivering services under the Support at Home program. We work with clients and their families to understand what funding is available and how it can be used to meet individual needs.

How we work
What makes our aged care different.
Dignity first
Every interaction is guided by respect for the person: their history, their preferences, their autonomy. The Aged Care Act 2024 places the rights of older people at the centre of care.
Consistent workers
We prioritise consistency. The same workers, the same routines, the same faces. Familiarity matters in aged care. It builds trust and reduces anxiety.
Family involvement
Families are partners in care. We communicate openly and involve family members as much or as little as the person wants.
Flexible and responsive
Needs change. We adapt. Whether that means more support, different support, or a different model entirely. No person should feel locked into an arrangement that no longer fits.
Quality and safety
Regulated to the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Banksia Care's aged care services are delivered in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, administered by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission. The Standards cover consumer dignity and choice, ongoing assessment and planning, personal and clinical care, services and supports for daily living, the service environment, feedback and complaints, human resources and organisational governance.
