Who we support
Physical, intellectual, psychosocial and neurological disability.
Banksia Care supports participants across a wide range of disability types, including physical disability, intellectual disability, autism, ADHD, acquired brain injury, neurological conditions and psychosocial disability.
Psychosocial disability, disability that arises from mental health experiences, is a recognised NDIS disability type. We understand the episodic and fluctuating nature of psychosocial disability and design support that is flexible and responsive to good days and harder ones.
Many participants have more than one diagnosis or intersecting support needs. Banksia Care does not require a participant to fit a single category, support is designed around the whole person.
Funding
Plan-managed, self-managed and NDIA-managed.
Banksia Care works with plan-managed and self-managed participants. Where the relevant service, provider registration and participant circumstances permit, NDIA-managed arrangements can be discussed.
Funding eligibility depends on the individual plan, applicable NDIS rules, current pricing arrangements and the specific support. Banksia Care will always be transparent about what is NDIS-funded, what may involve a private cost and what falls outside the scope of NDIS funding.
